Photo Gallery: Happy Hour | Cards for a Cause | 5/12

We gathered at 310 Bowery for a meaningful evening of community volunteering in NYC, creating handmade cards for older adults through our partnership with DOROT. It was incredible to see volunteers come together — familiar faces bringing friends, new people interested in learning more about Bright Light’s programs, and everyone taking time to create thoughtful cards for elderly New Yorkers experiencing loneliness and social isolation.

Events like these are a reminder that small acts of kindness can make a real impact. By bringing people together outside the traditional workday, we’re making it easier for busy New Yorkers to give back, build community, and support neighbors across the city.
